Benio Tomishima: Bubbling Mist Set (4)

A unique set of three very distinct sakazuki and one tokkuri with soft, ephemeral aqua tones of turquoise, lilac, periwinkle & soft lemon. Benio's custom glazes never fail to stun and the combination of three very different sakazuki, makes for different but equally special drinking experiences.

These cups are handcrafted by Ehime-trained Tokyo artist Benio Tomishima. Her delicately crafted ceramic feels like the barest boundary between lips and sake. The wide mouth of the sakazuki makes sake taste sweeter and allows for a gentle angle between neck and cup, letting the sake flow smoothly over your tongue.

Benio is compensated in proportion to American retail pricing, in order to afford her a fair percentage of Sunflower sales.
