Are you interested in learning more about sake in a private session, where you can ask any question you'd like, bring a group of friends or coworkers, or even customize the class to specific regions or topics?
Sunflower Sake is available and excited to teach. Our maximum capacity for a private event in the bar is 10 guests, seated tasting/class is 25 guests. Classes can be hosted on-premise in a private room at the Olympic Mills Commerce Center, or off premise at a location of your choosing. Washoku catering (Japanese cuisine) designed specifically for sake pairing can be arranged through Kelsey Miguel, subject to availability and charged separately at her own rates.
Class times vary depending on our schedule and availability at the shop, and pricing may vary depending on time, holidays, theme and location, As an example, a typical Sake 101 for 1 hour is priced at $100 base + $35/guest.
Classes are taught by Nina Murphy, owner and proprietor of Sunflower Sake. Her credentials are as follows:
- WSET 3 Sake- Distinction
- Advanced Sake Professional (ASP)
- WSET 3 Wine- Distinction (top score in Americas and recipient of the Laithwaite's Award, 2019)
- WSET Wine Diploma- Merit
- Sake Scholar Course (SSC)

Your case:
$30 flat-rate case shipping (up to 12 bottles) — the more you add, the less per bottle. Per federal requirements, an adult (21+) with photo ID must be present to receive the delivery.
