This brand is a bit heavier, with more umami than other areas in Niigata because of it being so remote and snowed in. It has a voluptuousness and fuller body, with notes roasted pear, salty Marcona almonds, roasted and fresh herbaceous fennel, and a round, Chardonnay-like mouthfeel.
