Amabuki Junmai "Gin no Kurenai"
- In stock, ready to ship
Gin no Kurenai is a revolution in the taste, color and aroma of sake. From the moment it leaves the bottle, the special qualities are apparent: a beautiful rosé color, coming from the use of ancient black rice, glistens in your wine glass. The flavor is lightly sweet with notes of red fruit: cranberry, raspberry, hibiscus, with foresty and earthy undertones. Chilled, it drinks like a light and fascinating aperitif but at room temperature the flavor really expands, growing further still when heated to 140 or so, which emphasizes the acidity, sharpness, and tea-like astringency.
