Fukuchiyo Shuzo was founded in 1923 and is located in the Ariake Sea facing town of Kashima in Saga prefecture. Gearing up for the brewery's 100th anniversary, the original merchant house has recently been renovated into luxury auberge, and the original milling room into a private tasting room.
The brewery recommends with bright, early spring fare- Mediterranean dishes featuring olive oil, fresh herbs, and citrus, especially.
