The Sunflower Sake Club uses its monthly selections to deep dive on special bottles, special stories, and education: teaching you how to understand, pair, and enjoy sake at home. Each club pack contains as much goodness as I can fit into $80, and because all club sake are discounted at least 10%, you get a lot more for your money ā¤ļø
These 2-3 bottles may be some combination of 180ml, 300ml, and 720ml formats.Ā With each bottle you'll receive aĀ detailed backstory along with illustrations, comics,Ā videos, snacks-- all sorts of media, as needed to tell the story! Very often, limited and rare bottles are allocated to club members first, with remaining inventory made available to purchase off the shelf.Ā

For gift subscriptions, immediateĀ availability depends on supply. If supply for the current month's release is available, it will be prepared and sent to the giftee on our next shipping day (In Summer, Mondays & Tuesdays only). If supply of the current release is not available, we may be able to substitute a previous month's club pack. If this is the case, we will reach out to you by email in advance. Otherwise, we can start with the following month's pack.
Limited supplies:Ā Membership slots, even for gift recipients, may be limited as wholesale orders are placed ~3, sometimes as much as 6 months in advance with our suppliers & breweries. Rarely, a club pack may require substitution with a similar sake in kind, quality and seasonality. We will reach out to let you know of any changes in advance.
Cancellation/Pausing: For gift subscriptions, all sales are final. If the giftee's circumstances change (for example they stop drinking, move to another country, pregnancy) we can transfer the subscription to an alternate recipient.
Shipping: Through our shipping partner, shipping is available nationwide to all states/counties that permit alcohol purchases. While I maintain a short list of dry counties, we ask that you check local regulations to confirm before ordering. When you purchase sake from Sunflower, you agree that your purchase is considered to have been transacted in Oregon and under Oregon law-- as though you were ordering in person at the shop. Shipping is then fulfilled post-purchase at the customer's direction.Ā
No sales tax is applied (as is law in Oregon), and it is the customer's responsibility to follow up with their local government to determine if any subsequent tax is due.
For club orders, shipping is charged at a discounted rate ($10 off) and can be increased up to a case (12) for no additional charge or upgraded to expedited (2 day or overnight) for an additional charge. Please also note that per federal requirements, an adult with photo ID must be present to receive the delivery.
Payment: Gift subscriptions are paid in advance at the time of purchase, including shipping.
