This sake is made with “Ginfubuki” rice which is a cross between the famous Yamada Nishiki rice and Shiga’s premier local sake rice “Tamazakae”. Ginfubuki was registered by farmers in Shiga prefecture in 1999. Tomita-san now works closely with
the rice farmers to cultivate and encourage this new variety, celebrating the uniqueness of Shiga prefecture’s sake culture.
Ground shipping is $25 to $40, free at 12 bottles.
