Oh, Red Snapper. Like Demon Slayer Onikoroshi or Drunken Whale, Red Snapper is one of those hugely popular hit sake bottles that weaves its way into the memories and hearts of sake lovers everywhere. As an 18% unpasteurized undiluted nama genshu, this exuberant, full-flavored and full-bodied gem is absolutely packed with flavor. Notes of white grapefruit, melon, peach gummy, and a freshly shaken cold-as-ice lime gimlet. As it ages (around 6-8 months from bottling) it takes on notes of cashew and custard, letting the sharper edges soften.

Brisk and dry and extremely punchy!

Narutotai Ginjo Nama Genshu is best served chilled or cold. It’s also acceptable on the rocks, as this sake packs a punch. In this case, consider a sudachi wedge as garnish, as this citrus is Tokushima’s flagship fruit.
