A kind, humble and well-rounded nigori at an excellent price. Cheerful notes of banana, mochi, fuji apple and custard. Middle of the road in terms of thickness, a little drier than average, and soft-textured with no starchy rice bits.
This nigori tastes like where it's from-- the outskirts of Osaka-- and that's the platform they're coming from. Osaka is famous for its full-flavored, heavily sauced and deep fried food, and an affordable, off-dry and clean nigori represents the region well.
The 6th generation toji-coowner is also an international traveler and jazz musician, and he plays Jazz while brewing.
